Referral Bonus Terms and Conditions

Haywood Custom Builders Referral Program

We are excited to offer a referral bonus to individuals who refer prospective clients to Haywood Custom Builders. To ensure transparency, please read and agree to the following terms and conditions before participating in our referral program.

1. Eligibility

  • The referral bonus of $1,500 is available to any individual who refers a prospective client to Haywood Custom Builders.

  • The referred client must be considering building a custom home, and the referral must be provided before the commencement of the project.

  • Referral bonuses are only available to individuals residing in the United States and will be paid out via a 1099 form for tax purposes.

2. Referral Bonus Structure

  • The $1,500 referral bonus will be paid in three installments as follows:

    • First Installment: $500 will be paid upon the commencement of construction of the referred client’s custom home.

    • Second Installment: $500 will be paid upon the completion of cabinetry installation in the referred client’s custom home.

    • Third Installment: The remaining $500 will be paid at the closing of the referred client’s custom home.

3. Payment Process

  • All referral bonuses will be processed as payments on a 1099, and it is the responsibility of the referrer to provide accurate tax information.

  • Payments will be made within 30 days of each qualifying milestone being met (construction commencement, cabinetry installation, and closing).

  • Failure to provide required tax information or any discrepancies in provided information may result in delays in payment.

4. Referral Process

  • To qualify for the referral bonus, the referring individual must submit the referred client’s contact information to Haywood Custom Builders prior to the start of the custom home project.

  • The referred client must not have an existing relationship with Haywood Custom Builders or be currently working with us prior to the referral.

  • The referring individual will be notified of their referral status and expected installment payout dates.

5. Limitations

  • This referral program may be modified or discontinued at any time without prior notice, although any valid referrals submitted prior to such changes will be honored based on the terms in place at the time of the referral.

  • The referral bonus is not applicable to projects already under contract or for clients who have previously been in communication with Haywood Custom Builders regarding a project.

  • Each individual is eligible for one referral bonus per referred client; however, there is no limit to the number of clients an individual can refer.

6. Disputes

  • Any disputes or concerns regarding the referral bonus program should be addressed to Haywood Custom Builders in writing. Haywood Custom Builders reserves the right to make the final determination in all matters concerning referral bonus eligibility and payouts.

7. Tax Information

  • As the referral bonus is paid via 1099, the referrer is responsible for reporting the income and paying any applicable taxes. Haywood Custom Builders will issue a 1099 form for any individual who earns $600 or more in referral bonuses within a calendar year.
